Aircraft Fabric

Macquarie has supplied many of the worlds best airlines and holds ongoing supply contracts with several large airlines for their maintenance requirements. Macquarie produces seating fabrics, curtaining and panel fabrics, all of which are supplied to the customer with the necessary Certification of Compliance to FAR standards. Macquarie is the only mill in Australia (and one of the few in the world) that holds Civil Aviation Safety Authority (CASA) Process Approval for Aircraft Fabric Manufacturing. The mill produces textiles for all aircraft applications, and it is this commitment that means Macquarie remains at the forefront of innovative aviation textile developments such as light weight fabrics, assisting reduction in fuel costs, and anti-static properties to enhance passenger comfort. Marine Fabric

Macquarie is part of the small and exclusive group of textile producers around the world who can offer accreditation by Det Norske Veritas. Our current DNV accreditation can be downloaded downloaded from our website by clicking the DNV logo to the right. This Det Norske Veritas certification refers to a Ship Classification System for safeguarding life, property and the environment at sea. Our products are used on many of the worlds largest ferry-lines, ships and passenger vessels. Many of the designs in our stock range meet DNV requirements. For a full range please click here.

Rail Fabric

Macquarie fabrics are used in rail carriages on many of Australia's major railway systems, both interstate and metropolitan such as the Ghan, Australian National Rail and Queensland Rail to name a few. For this environment, Macquarie develops custom designs to suit the project. Our designs all come with Certification of Compliance to meet necessary transport regulation specifications.
